Designer
As a leader in product design for enterprise I explore new experience concepts, shape the vision and craft multi-layered journeys. Users are professionals at work, and good design makes a difference in professional excellence, for individuals, teams and organisations.
Throughout my career I have collaborated with multiple cross functional teams on the full cycle of design thinking, from exploration to design to overseeing implementation and improving the live product. -
Researcher
I enjoy conducting both generative and evaluative research, from early exploration to validating solutions.
I synthesize findings into models that travel well across teams personas, journeys, and narratives that bring users to life and inform smart product decisions.
I seek creating a shared knowledge and keep iterating on it with new questions.

Leader & Mentor
Leadership comes naturally to me, whether it's leading design teams, hiring talent, shaping processes, or championing product quality.
It’s one of the most challenging and rewarding hats I wear.
Mentorship has been from time to time a very important focus, helping emerging designers grow and bridging the gap between academia and industry. -
Instructor
Wearing this hat reminds me how much I don’t know.
I’ve taught workshops and mentored emerging designers, breaking down processes into learnable bits. My material is focused on providing a toolset of methodologies put simply, and the critical thinking to pick the right one for the right problem at hand.
My mission is to demystify the design process, and inspire creative confidence.

Sitecore is a leader in the Digital Experience Platform industry, XM Cloud is Sitecore’s flagship product on Content Management.
I manage a wonderful team of skilled designers who work on parts of the product whereas I lead the User Experience vision and architecture.
I keep in touch with hands on design myself, practicing the craft on challenging greenfield areas.
With the wider Sitecore design team we work closely on company-wide alignment, like establishing design practices, design patterns and keep evolving our design system
My challenge is to shape up a research framework to enable the product management and product design peers on a variety of methodologies that will continuously inform our product and design decisions.

Personalize and CDP (formerly Boxever, aquired by Sitecore) is Sitecore’s product offering on sophisticated customer engagement and analytics.
I worked with multiple product and engineering teams on improving the product and developing new features.
One of the most important challenges was to deeply understand technical concepts and simplify how they are presented to a marketer who has low technical literacy.
I organized and conducted user research around personalization, campaign management and different needs around monitoring engagement activities.

Agile Actors is an Ecosystem of Tech Professionals, who grow through coaching, under the mentality of continuous feedback and learning.
To me this environment was a professional school, a community of mentors and coaches, where everyone had a voice and could drive their own career path as well as interesting company initiatives.
Some of my responsibilities towards my senior years in Agile actors:
serving the design chapter as a board member
leading design hiring from the tech perspective
working on design skill mapping and development paths
conducting prospect customer-facing communications related to design services
I will forever be grateful to Agile Actors founders, and proud to have been a member of their team for all these years.

Next dot is a platform that enables continuous growth for professionals and organizations. My role was to build the foundation of this product’s UX, collaborating with the amazing small cross functional team of founders and contributors. After my departure, Next Dot grew further, transformed and became an entity on its own into the tech world!
Apart from the design of the MVP, I also developed some basic brand elements and the design system infrastructures.

Kotsovolos is the oldest and one of the biggest retail store chains in Greece. I led the UX design of their In-store sales platform, K-Retail.
One of the most challenging products I worked on in terms of system complexity both in IT aspects but also in user ecosystem aspects.
An ecosystem with multiple touch points in store, call center and online channels, the in-store experience and our platform was very well blended with all of them. The user personas varied from various in-store actors in different roles and mindsets, interacting with their customers in a very challenging environment and industry.
Continuously informed product design with user research insights, from field research (in stores), user interviews, user testing.

Part of a team that designed My Generali app, the B2C app for Generali Insurance. The project was ran by FJORD Milan, and we created the local app based on the business requirements, global design patterns and the design system, which we enhanced. We conducted user testing and iterated to optmize design, however the app was actually developed after we left the project.

In this team we designed Eurolife’s brokers’ portal, Eurolife Parners. In this platform, insurance brokers could create and manage their customers insurance portfolio and their own work and relationship with the insurance company.
My role was crucial in product requirements definition, and focused on user research, user testing, IA design, journey mapping, wireframing, as the team was consisted on UX and UI specialists.
In this team I first experienced working in scrum teams, adopting agile practices, and conducting user research with in person methodologies.

In USD I had my first steps in the digital world.
I worked on a variety of web and mobile applications, as a part of a worldwide distributed team with a tech-driven spirit.Got involved with industries such as social networks, healthcare, HR, Retail, Augmented reality, 3D printing and more.
My services were focused on Product Design mostly but I also got my hands into Branding, Graphic Design, 3d modelling and animation, and web design, and I enjoyed every bit of the craftmanship skill XP points I gained.
While still a junior professional I got involved in many aspects of the work including product management, scoping projects, team management and recruiting talent.

Starting with my internships, I was enchanted by the physical products world. Crafting hand made objects, interacting with materials, working on concepts that can make our life more practical or fun, was one of the most interesting work experiences I could ask for.

As design engineer I learnt the art of problem solving through holistic approaches, systems thinking and a human centered mindset.
The department equips students with multi-disciplinary skills in areas such as design, arts, engineering, programming, computer graphics, mathematics, history, marketing, psychology.
My studies in the department, the island landscape and the students community have forged my identity as a designer, a creative and a human being.
Thesis (2014): Motion capture and editing methodologies with low budget equipment for computer animation or real time applications
In this thesis, I studied low cost motion capture technologies that can be used in 3D character animation (2014). A theoretical research covers relevant areas in motion capture and focuses on optical, markerless motion technologies, specifically on vision-depth-based systems.
A methodology is proposed as guidance for a hands-on study. The steps towards the completion of the project include: context and goals definition, gathering tools, implementation, case study and evaluation. In our case study, Kinect for XBox 360 is used as a low cost device, Brekel Pro Body as a motion capture software and Autodesk MotionBuilder as a character animation software.
This study proposes a pipeline for motion capture, revealing important tools and techniques for each step.
